Emailing:01/28/10 playdate

Oh no you didn't.... oh YES I did!

Yep, we had a MOPS Play date to go to this morning... and Paul Thomas insisted on wearing his favorite Dora PJ's... and since I knew it was gonna be an outdoor play date in the back yard at Dana's... I made him wear them over his sweat shirt. Yes, I know what you're thinking...

that you would have left them on and put the sweat shirt on over the Dora PJ top... but trust me - I tried that! and he wasn't buyin it! :P Oh well - they are only 2 years old once...

Olivia found something she loved - a BIG HORSIE MOMMA!! WOOK!

watching them run and climb was fun - they're really on the go... in opposite directions of course! :P thankfully since it was a fenced in back yard with lots of other mom's it was easy to keep an eye on both of them. ;)

and strangely while Olivia was swinging her nose began bleeding... A LOT. Don't worry, I don't have photos of that to show you - I was busy holding a wet towel on it.

Play Date at the Park anyone?

yes PLEASEeeee! They just love going to the park. If I mention it - Paul Thomas runs to gather up shoes and sandals for everyone even me!

in case you can't tell or not sure.. YES his pants are soaking wet in the photos (see the one above) He went down the slide before anyone else and soaked up the puddle at the end... it was rainy here yesterday.

and look-a-there! Paul Thomas and this little girl, Chloe, could pass for twins with their same colored hair and big blue eyes. :)

The kids really had a great time. You would never know it's fall around here.. with highs in the high 80's or low 90's and very high humidity levels. Ahhh... that's SE Texas for ya!

it was a race to the slide once more..

Peek-ah-Booo Momma! :)

more park pics

Guess what two little climbing moneky kids had a ball today??? :) Olivia and Paul Thomas! We met up with a few new MOPS mom and kids friends today at one of our favorite parks. Do you see Paul Thomas climbing and swinging in the photos above???

and they both had fun with this huge anchor monument thing.... They started out playing peek-a-boo with me and the camera and then with each other. :) I wish you could hear the laughs and giggles they were sharing!

And take a look at this photo I took of Paul Thomas in front of the park gazebo - doesn't he look so little..? well see that big colorful pole behind the anchor? that is the different Hurricane Catagory Levels.
Red = Category 2
Yellow = Category 3
Blue = Category 4

Kinda scary when you really stop to think about it.. and how high the water did come in.

leaving the park to go home

What a fun play-date at the park with our new MOPS friends. I thought it would be impossible to get them to load up to leave but they fell pretty easily for the 'Nilla Wafer Cookie Bribe. So glad I had a box in the van! :P

When we got home, Olivia was all about "Me to it" meaning she wanted to get out of the van all by herself... and immediately wanted to get into her vehicles to drive back to the park :P

Paul Thomas was all smiles when I cam back out to the garage to get him second.. he was trying to hide behind the seatbelt thing and sliding door to yell "Arrrrgh!" at me and make me act scared - which he loved! I'm sure I looked pretty scary playing the roll with my frizzed out humidity hair. :P

It was a great day :)
