Happy Mother's Day!!!
THE MOM SONG - here at our home we have been dancing to "The MOM Song" all weekend and Nora already knows all the words :) This morning before getting ready for church, we even called David's mom in Kentucky and put the phone by the speaker and jammed it up and danced along while we let her hear it. ;) Who needs a music card when you have Internet and phone ;)
If you haven't heard of the group Go Fish, you need to check them out! They are great! They use to write music for Veggie Tales and now make their own kid music that won't drive you nuts listening to. ;)
There are several songs to listen to and watch videos to on uTube.com Several funny, several serious... but all of the GREAT! A personal favorite is one called "Your My Little Girl" and you can hear it from their website where they have made up a FREE Virtual CD where you can download and listen to songs.
As I close I will attach a photo at the top of this post of my little blessings that we took last night - poor Olivia still has supper on her face as I thought we were headed straight upstairs to the bath tub but instead had to take a pit stop to the computer room for one last dance for the night to the MOM song! :)

EDDITED TO ADD - Today I noticed that Olivia's molar on the bottom right has popped thru barely. 1 down 3 more to go for her.

At my appointment yesterday I found out the blood work results = positive for Fifth disease and appears that I do not have immunity. Dr. Oliver told me not to be concerned at this point, and a follow-up blood work in two weeks and an ultrasound is scheduled to confirm that there are no complications. Other than the fifth disease test everything was positive including my own health.
She assured me that at this time there is no need to worry and with each of my questions she just simply stated it is too early to tell yet and that we don’t need to worry until that time comes.
We will continue to keep everyone informed as we know more. Until now, I have to wait 2 weeks until my blood work and ultrasound on Wednesday 5/23….then wait for results from the blood work sometime that following week.
Thanks again for all of your prayers – I have certainly felt them as I have not been as panicked about this situation as I may have been without the prayers. Bonnie

The last few days have been Yuck-O here!!!
Yesterday, Friday, he had snot looking stuff in both of his eyes - all gooped up... yuckO! all day... but no throwing up thankfully.
Then this morning at breakfast he threw up MAJOR volume of breast milk - wow, I didn't realize he was getting so much milk - luckily he was sitting at the high chair and the trey caught most of it. However, just as I thought he was done, I took the trey to wash off and while at the sink he started again and threw up that much more! David was holding out his bib to catch it... SUPER yuck!
Then for morning nap I thought for sure he'd fall off to sleep no problem but he just couldn't get settled... he wasn't happy in bed and wasn't happy at all with me holding him...dint' want to rock or nurse... he just fussed and fussed! I knew he had to be exhausted, b/c he had been up all night and that much vomiting makes anyone tired, so Nora went with me and I took him for a drive around town to get him to go to sleep.
About the time we pulled into Wal-Mart - just to drive by the pretty flowers and see if I could scope out what I want to plant this year... I heard him throwing up again! and since I was going so slow I was able to quickly stop and get out to check on him.... since his car seat has him in a reclining position (yes we are still in the infant carriers that snap in - the twins are still under 20 pounds) it worries me if they throw up laying back!
After that I headed straight back home to change him and when we got home he was asleep. THANKFULLY! and because I figured his rest was more important than smelling good I postponed cleaning him up.
After he woke up, Olivia was awake too and so we had lunch - as I was finishing up, I smelt poopy... and when I took the trey away from the seat it was everywhere! Poor thing had diarrhea all over - out his diaper and shorts...SUPER YUCKO and this time David and Nora had just left to go "shopping for mother's day" so i had clean up all by myself :(
I left Olivia buckled up in her high chair while I took Paul Thomas upstairs to clean him off. By the time I finished bathing him he was nudging and nudging wanting to nurse so I let him b/c I don't want him to get dehydrated... and all this time Olivia was a great sport and sat quietly - I never heard her cry... and when I got him down for his afternoon nap I went down and she sat in her high chair sucking her thumb asleep. ;) so sweet... so I carried her up and put her to bed.
This was taken just before I got ready to get them out of the chairs - see how sleepy she was!
Then I washed out the two tubs - I had a pre-rinse in our tub and removed all the chunks... then took him to his bath that was clean to sit in for the soaping part ;) then I unloaded the dishwasher - and thought I am exhausted, and the house is so quiet with Nora gone... so I called David and told him to "I don't know how much more time you and Nora need, but please STAY GONE at least another hour so I can take a nap!!" ;) so he and Nora went to Dairy Queen together for an early supper.
It's been a long weekend so far with poor Paul Thomas feeling so week. I hope tomorrow is a better day - and most likely I'll be taking him to the doctor first thing Monday morning.
I thought I'd share here so that any of you who wanted to remember Paul Thomas in your prayers could :)
Oh and Olivia is getting very close to cutting her molars on the bottom - I'd say by this time next weekend we will see white back there....so pray for her too :)
and I almost forgot but since I'm giving updates on everyone... and I hear coughing in the next room - I am nearly over the "crud" that started about 2.5 weeks ago - but it seems that David has hit the worst part of his coughing "curd" this weekend... so hopefully in a few day's he will feel like I do and be over it. ;) Last night he slept downstairs on the couch so he woudn't disturb what little sleep I get (inbetween times of getting up with Paul Thomas.)
And update for all of my HGTV friends who stop by often to read - I promise I will get the bingo FQs sorted and prepared for mailing as soon as my babies are taken care of ;) but this weekend being a momma was more important ;) and I know you will understand.
Thanks and have a Happy MOTHER'S DAY tomorrow ;)

Fun with Friends on Friday!
However recently with the nice warmer weather, it has made us want to try and get together at least Every other Friday. :) We met at a park just following Easter for an egg hunt, then went over to Millie's for a Birthday play date for her turning 4 and today, we were invited over to Jed's home to come play in the sprinkler! Which the kids l-o-v-e-d!!!
(Do you notice Olivia and Nora have matching swim suits!!! Wish I had thought and have them pose for a photo - maybe next time.)
I think in two weeks we are going to try and go to Shangri La Botanical Garden and Nature Center that just opened up a couple months ago... and since most all of the play group kids are also the preschool kids we will make it a field trip too!
Below are some more photos of friends that were taken at our home while I watched Natalie and John Paul for a short while before we all went to play group. They loved driving Nora's "BarVie" jeep while she directed them on where to go. ;c)
and here is a photo of my great friend Heidi the hostess of the play date today holding her newest addition to her family, Ella (born 3/10/08)
Thanks Heidi for letting us come over! It's aways fun playing in your BIG Backyard!!!

A rare moment at Story Time yesterday!
Nora is in the back squatting down looking at the two newest baby girls in our group.... and Paul Thomas is the baby asleep in the blue car seat and Olivia to the right of him in the brown car seat.
There were a few moms and kiddos absent yesterday. I think the class size is around 20 kids.... so that would mean there were 5 not there. But on average this is the usual group size and we always have a active group of preschoolers on Wednesday's!!!

Baptism Portraits!
I think they look great on either side of the mirror in the Dining Room, don't you? I was very pleased to find frames that matched the light fixture in the Dining Room and so very similar to the frame of Nora's that hangs in the foyer.... and she still refers to it as the "photo when I was Baptized when I was a rooster" :cP
and also I took another photo of the twins - this is hanging up at the studio on display. It is huge! not sure exactly how big - but much larger than the 16x20's that I bought. I think the sale price was around $750 for this size (((which is why I did NOT purchase it))) I wonder how long they will keep it on display and after they're done, what they will do with it???

A great day for a picnic at home!
I have more than enough photo to share with everyone but for today will just share the highlights of a picnic we had outside on the driveway after preschool today. The babies loved Nora's idea! It was a little windy so we had to get creative on how to anchor down the corners of the quilt. ;c)
oh good, Olivia has decided to wake up and join us!!
and what about the food you ask??? I took all of these photos before I brought out the foods as we were waiting on Heidi and Eli and Ella to come join us. But after they got here we had pretzels, apples, hot dog slices and juice! and while Nora and Eli rode trikes Olivia and Paul Thomas ran around in their walkers on the driveway.

EDITED TO ADD: a photo of Jackson our mini schnauzer (9 years old.) He got to go to the groomer earlier this week and we decided to go for a summer cut and shave his skirt. well, actually we didn't have much of a choice b/c he was so matted... will all the tasks I have to do every day and night combing the dog just isn't on the list anymore! But I think he still looks cute. I know he feels much better!

Wordless Wednesday
Last Friday we were invited to a Birthday/Play Date Party for one of Nora's friends. :) Here are a few photos taken that day to share with you for this week's wordless Wednesday. ~bonnie
The little girl holding Paul Thomas is the Birthday Girl :)
Olivia was in the party spirit with her Puffs can noise maker!
Paul Thomas wanted a closer took and taste of everything -just couldn't take his eyes off the balloons for a single second!
Now that we had our sugar fix, it's time to jump!

Get another picture of my foot momma!
"No! No! NO! Not my face! Not my face I said PLEASE!" :cP
After we got home, Nora went to the stairs to take off her shoes and put them in the basket, "so we'll know where they are next time." ;) and naturally, she had to check for toe jam!
Ta Da!
OK, so maybe this wasn't so much of a "wordless" Wednesday... LOL ;)
