I want to THANK YOU for taking the time to sign the guest book!!! I know many of you stop in often and take a look but don't sign and therefore we have no idea who has been by or if anyone even keeps up with the page anymore. It wasn't long ago I thought about discontinuing doing the web page b/c I felt no one even cared.

After the twin announcement we got lots of comments from friends we haven't spoken with in so long. It really warms my heart to know that you all still check in on us and I am so glad now I renewed the webpage for another year :)

Right now as I am typing this Nora is here by my side asking me to "Mommy, Play Kitchen with Nora p-l-e-a-s-e..." so how can say no to that???

I will be back with more photo updates soon. Thank you everyone for taking time to sign the guest book every now and again so we know that you do like getting the updates :)

Not sure what you will notice first, the news announcement or the new photo of the TWINS we are expecting next June!!!

David and I had the pleasure of telling our families in person while we were home for Thanksgiving of our wonderful news.

It was so fun to see everyone's happiness for us in their faces when we told them that Nora was going to be a big sister soon... and then to hear their excitement in their voices when we told them T-W-I-N-S!

Our prayers have been answered once again and we are looking forward to our family growing. There are a lot of things to do to prepare - thankfully David's mom can use a bed at her home so when my Dad and Clara come for a visit next January they will take back the cherry bed set that was David's fathers when he was a boy.

It is a perfect solution for both us and Kathy! :) Well I gotta close for now - I have supper to fix. I will be posting some more photos soon of Nora. :)

We are packed, ready and Kentucky bound!!! Tomorrow we fly out of Houston and into Nashville to go home to be with our families for the week of Thanksgiving!!! I think we will be there alost 10 days! Yeah!!!

I talked with my Daddy on the phone today and they are all ready for us - he has Nora's crib set up in her room already. I told him that this could be the last time he has to set it up b/c for Christmas Nora has asked Santa for a BIG girl bed.

Daddy also said for us to pack our sheep skin jackets b/c it is really cold in KY. I haven't worn a coat all year!! Guess we will have to get out our leather coats and brush the dust off them and take with us tomorrow.

Speaking of Santa - Nora and I got to talk with him today at the mall. We hadn't planned on going but at lunch time I was craving Arby's and the only Arby's I know of in TEXAS is in the Beaumont mall and we were in Beaumont.... so we went.

Santa wasn't busy at all with any photo taking and we were sitting a little ways from him but he started waving to Nora. She immediately put both hands over her eyes and would not look directly at him.

He then got up from his chair and stood by the railing of his front porch and was talking to us from a distance. She would peak between her fingers at him every little bit. hahah

Then he picked up a candy cane out of his basket and asked her if she liked candy. She unhid her face then and was smiling... he said she could have it but she would have to come get it - he couldn't throw across the flowers... so I didn't think she would do it but she did!

She held my hand and we walked around the flowers and to santa's house and down the walk to see him! I was expecting her to cry but she didn't!!! She wouldn't sit in his lap but she stood right in front of him the whole time looking at him. It was so cute!

He asked her what her name was and where she lived... then what she wanted for Christmas. We told him that since the kings gave baby Jesus 3 gifts we only wanted 3 gifts too. He thought that was a lovely idea.

Nora told him she wanted a waggon and a farm and then I had to tell him that she wanted a BIG girl bed as her third gift. ;) I didn't have my camera with me to get a photo and I wasn't about to pay the mall $30 for a package of her in a dirty shirt and pants and very messed up hair (she broke her hair clip in the car on the way) so we will have to go back another time for a photo when she looks cute. I can't believe you cant' get just a single photo anymore???

Well we will be back after the 27th so ta-ta for now. :) We CAN'T wait to see most of you in person and visit with you during Thanksgiving!!!!! And for those of you who we will not see, we wish you a happy day with your family!

Today was Nora's Halloween Party at the Bridge City Story Time that we go to. All the kiddos were so cute all dressed up.

David was able to take tiem off from work to come join us for the hour. It was his first Story Time so I let him do all the helping Nora with making her craft. They both loved it.

I'm setting up a photo album called "Story Time Party" to show the photos that I took today. It was impossible to get one group photo of all the kids. The morning class majority of the children are 2 years old and under where as the afternoon class has several 4 and 5 year olds.

Enjoy! :)

Mail Call: This afternoon Nora and I went to the mailbox together. She loves for me to pick her up and let her "do it". Sitting right on top was a post card of a duck and she yelled out "DUCKIE!!!!!!" when she opened the mailbox door.

It was so cute! This was sent by one of Bonnie's HGTV quilting friends, Nickilee who lives in Maine. Of all the different people we have received postcards from...no one has sent as many as Nicki :) Thank You! You are so thoughtful to remember Nora when you travel and even when you are not traveling ;)

On the postcard she wrote: "Hi Nora, I hope you are being a good girl for your Mommy & Daddy. :) Here are some pictures of some animals from Maine. Do you know what they are? Be Good! Nickilee"

I so need to start a spreadsheet to keep up with how many states/countries we have received postcards from... her collections is Grooooowing!

aaaahhh Saturday! Today we dropped off my van at Firestone for it’s oil change and then headed over to I-HOP for brunch. Nora loves pancakes! The van still needed some more time before being ready to pick up so, afterwards we went to Target to check out the Halloween costumes.

Last year we used my nieces hand-me-down costume and Nora was a very cute bumblebee. This year, I have been trying to think of something for her to be but nothing I’ve thought of has seemed to wow me....little did I know that Nora would have her own ideas! – I just needed to get her to the store.

The first isle of costumes we came to were for toddlers - perfect! They had lots to choose from but the very minuite Nora spotted the Care Bears she started chanting – “Care Bear Count Down! Care Bear Count Down!? that’s the way her DVD from Abbey & Michael starts out...she recognized them right off the bat. Looking at all the tags they were all sized 3T-4T which I thought, well bummer – she needs a 2T.

When she saw in the way back the purple one, she really started chattering! “I want pea-bull Care Bear!!? I looked at David and he looked at me and we both knew that she had just decided once and for all that for Halloween she was going to be a “Pea-Bull Care Bear?. :c)

Of course I thought we needed to try it on first so we did. David warned me that we may have to wear it home... thankfully we didn't :c) but she LOVED it! Can you tell from her big smile!!!!

I didn't even have to tell her to say cheese. I am gonna have to think of something to help hold the hood back so she can see. Maybe use some hair clips to clip it to her hair?

Mail Call: Today Nora got a post card from Jean in Quispamsis, NB Canada.

The post card had a photo of the world's larges covered bridge in Heartland, New Brunswick.

The sign above the entrance says it is 1282 feet!

Thanks Jean for sending this to Nora :c)

Thanks MiMi for the postcard - we miss you!

I have been considering starting a blog since it is free after this website expires later this fall. not sure yet. I will keep you posted. Happy Weekend Everyone!

Well we got back from Kentucky Tuesday night 9/5. We flew into Houston and stopped to eat and was home around 9 or so. Perfect timing for Nora.

She was great on the airplane!!! Both going and returning. On the way home during take off she was starting to get a little ansy in her seatbelt while we were taxiing out to the runway. I firmly told her she had to stay still and she whined a bit

... but when we were jetting down the runway I guess the force made her give in to her sleepiness because we weren't but 10 feet off the ground yet and I looked over at her and Nora had her arm stretched out on the armrest and her head on it and was dead asleep! :)

She stayed asleep the whole 2 hour flight and didn't wake up until we were at baggage claim.

We had a fun time at David's 15 year class reunion. He got to see lots of friends he hadn't seen since graduation. I chit chatted with all those who would listen haha not a bad time although I did feel like a wall flower for a while.

I didn't go to his school so all in all it was fun. I am glad we went. It was much better than my 10 year – which was a huge flop… I will spare everyone the boreing details! Let’s just say, “You might be a redneck if, nearly half of the people at the class reunion are the same people you eat turkey with each holiday!!!? ( I graduated with two of my 1st cousins.)

The weather in Kentucky was just like fall for us while we were there! It was GREAT! We loved the highs being in the 70's while we were there. At my Dad's we slept with the windows open at night even! Nora's vocabulary really took a turn in a new direction as while we were there she started speaking whole sentences that I had no clue she knew how to say!

My dad's wife, Clara had made a Red-velvet cake on Saturday and when it came out of the oven she held Nora up to take a look at it and was saying to her "Do you see MaMaw's cake? What color is the cake? Can you say red?" and Nora said "mmm MaMaw, it smells good!" It was so cute! :-) and of course Clara, being the proud MaMaw she is, had something to brag about at the Sunday dinner! And I am sure she will be telling about that for a while to everyone she sees in the coming few weeks ;)

Today's mail brought 3 postcards from Bonnie's friend, Dixieldy, from the HGTV quilting board.

My favorite is of Rainbow Row - Charleston, SC that shows a row of homes on East Bay Street that by choice of the homeowners are all painted in a rainbow of colors.

The second postcard is of the history of how Charleston was founded in 1670 and is the oldest city between Virginia and Floridia.

...and the last postcard is of the South Battery homes with the Charleston Harbon in the background.

Thanks Sonja! You are so sweet to send these to Nora! :)

Today Nora received her very 1st postcard from Pennsylvania!

Her good friends Ethan and Justin sent it to her. They use to live in Bridge City, TX and recently moved over the summer to PA for their Daddy's new job.

The post card is of a rural setting of a farm shown on rolling hills. There are sevreal barns and silo. In the sky you can even see the moon too!

Thanks Ethan and Justin! I miss you both and my Mommy misses your Mommy Ms. Leslie! I will look for a postcard to mail to you :) -Nora

Today Nora received a postcard from Bonnie's quilting friend NickiLee from New England. She has sent Nora several cards from her travels - Greese, Washington, DC, and many from her home state New England.

The postcard that came today has photos of wildlife on it and Nora recognized all three items on the card without being prompted!

She said, "There's the Bear and the moose and the deer!" :) I am so proud of her she is really learning a lot from her postcards! :) Thanks NickiLee!!!

Yesterday, Nora turned 2 years old! :) She received two very special Birthday cards in the mail - the first from Miss Alice who sent her a card with her special angel stamps on the envelope :) and two $1 bills - and the second card wasn't signed LOL but we figured it out because thankfully MawMaw Clara did remember to put a return address sticker on the back of the envelope. I called my Dad and we all had a good laugh :)

Nora also received a package from Abbey & Michael yesterday. They sent her a really cute outfit and a swimsuit with cherries on it. She knew just what to do with it too! When she saw it she immediately began pulling it over her head wanting to wear it and go to the spray park. It was too funny seeing her pull it over her head and her face bursting thru the spandex! :) LOL I will upload photos later.

Today David and I are taking Nora to Beaumont, to go to Chunky Cheese for lunch. We are taking Miss Heidi and Nora's best friend Jed (he's 3 months older than Nora) and of course his baby brother Eli (6 months old) gets to go too. We figured this would be fun for Nora and she LOVES Pizza.

This won't be her first time exactly - we did go last Dec. while in KY - but she hasn't been since so it will be all new to her again most likely. Last year, the day we went, she was not feeling good and laid her head on the table the whole time. I know today she will really love it!

The official Birthday Party will be while we are home in KY on vacation the 1st week of July. Nora's thing right now is "Ole McDonald" so my Dad is going to be in caharde of giving all the kids a hay ride around the farm. I know she will LOVE it!!! July 2nd at 2pm at Bonnie's Dads home... invitations will be mailed out this week. :)

Happy Weekend everyone!

A few of you have asked about pic on the front page of the quilt in the photo of Nora sleeping in her crib... Is this one I made?

Well no, but sort of ;) When I was about 8 or 9 yeas old, my mom was going to use up some of her scraps to make a very small quilt for me to use with a small baby doll. Well I being her helper and having bigger and better ideas kept insisting that it be bigger. It went from being 12" x 12" to a little larger so that my bigger baby dolls my Cabbage Patch kid could be wrapped up - fully demonstrating to her that it was not big enough to wrap all the way around and tuck in good... to - "Well, Mom, since we have added this much more we may as well make it big enough to use for a real baby one day."

I am sure that my Mom didn't have plans to get into another project, but I am SO glad that she was easily convinced to go along with my wishes. Because now, some twenty years later... here is my baby all wrapped up in the love that my mom used to make this very special and one of a kind quilt for "me and my baby".

It's been 7 years since my mom passed away and I so wish that she could have met Nora. My Mom's mother, Bonnie, who I was named after died before I was born too and so I already know what it will be like for Nora to grow up only hearing about her grandmother. I hope that I will do as good of a job as my mother did of sharing stories of her mom so that my daughter will know what a great woman my Mother really was.

My mom let me pick an choose the left over 4 patches to use and arrange them how I wanted and when it came time to do the hand quilting, Mom even let me add a few of my own first stitches.

I love wrapping Nora up in this quilt and cherish my memory of my Mother and hope that years from now, Nora will use the same quilt with her child. :)

ok, I won't go into all the details now, I will save that for David to do later - but we had a "one of a kind / never before" types of weekends with Nora last weekend...

I told David he would be in charge of telling about it here... so stay tuned.

Nora got her fist ever post card from GEORGIA yesterday!!! It was from a couple we call "Dad & Kim" :) They are the parents of our really good friends, Jay & Tricia.

When I opened the mailbox yesterday, I was greeted by an alligator!! eek! There was right on top ;) Actually the card is from FL, but it was mailed FROM GA so we will count it as GA card #1! :) Thanks Kim!!!

Happy Memorial day everyone. :) This weekend we have been enjoying our time together as a family before David leaves on his trip to Nashville for the week.

It sure is nice to have David home... and Nora will agree. She is so funny with her "Dad-Ee HOOOOOOooooooooooommme!" expressions. She's said it at least a hundred times during this weekend :)

We are missing our friends in Savannah - Jay, Tricia, Tyler, Tanner & Trip. We hate that we had to cancel our plans to come be with you all this weekend!!! We would have loved so much to meet baby Trip! Maybe things will work out for us to come this fall - perhaps the end of October?

David will be traveling to Firestone's home office for a managers meeting in Nashville. Last year he didnt' tell his family about his trip and snuck in on them one evening. This year they know he's comming and Kathy already has plans to fire up the grill for some BBQ for David!

....I sure wish we could have traveled with him on this trip but the prices of airline tickets has skyrocketed this year and it just isn't possible for us.... and Nora could have flown free... doesn't look like we will be getting to take advantage of the "up to age 2 free special" anymore b/c she turns 2 in less than a month!

Well..Nora and i are looking forward to our end of June trip to KY for the 4th of July. We have been planning this trip for a year now! :) :) :)

ok, the folks at aboutmybaby.com were so helpful today with the SPAM problem. Thankfully none of you received all the emials that I did. WHEW! at least that is what they assured me.

I have started to scan Nora's postcards and will continue to add them when time allows. She has so many now! 30+ They cover her closet door and bedroom door. We look at them at least 3-4 tiems a day as we pass by.

Nora will stop and reach up and say "Hoooold Ma" wanting me to pick her up so she can get a closeup look at each one. We take turns... I will ask her what's that? and she tells me and then sometimes I ask where is such-n-such and she points. After we are done, I tell her "Nora is so smart!" and I sign "smart" and she will put her hand over her nose - suppose to put middle finger on forehead... and she will say "SNOT" it is funny!

I am so amazed at how much she is learning from all of her postcards already! Train, Water, Ocean, Boat, Bear, she especially loves looking at the animals on the cards! Lots of my quilting buddies online have been so helpful in sending her postcards from all over the world! Nora has even received 2 fabric quilted postcards even! They are really cool!

Even our friend, Miss Suzanne, who works in the photo lab at CVS sent Nora two post cards during her recent trip to Canada when she visited her family for a month! - I guess you could say we are gettin to know the people in our small town pretty well :)

If you have our address, we would love to receive a postcard from your part of the world! :) Nora has YET to get a card from GEORGIA for her collection! I know, hard to believe that isn't it!!?!??

We got spammed! Yes a stupid generic Pharmacy linked it's adds to the comments sectionto one of our photos. I kept getting email notifications that someone had left a comment and clicked to see and it was junk. I at first contacted aboutmybaby about it to see if they coudl help me remove the smap links... but kept getting more and more from the pharmacy so I just deleted the photo and am hoping that this will work... crossing fingers!

I hope none of you got the email about the comments being added - I don't know if they are set up to nitify everyone or just us when someone adds a comment? I am sorry for this. Bonnie

ok, sorry it has been forever since posting anything....I had added some photos not too long ago but hadn't addded any news......well David decided to log in and didn't have the password and instead of asking me hit the button for password help and they reset it sending it to our email - only the message didn't go to the "in box" instead went and hung out in the junk mail folder with 381 other junk messages....

It wasn't until last night that I figured all of this out and had to go digging thur all of them! whew, I know that is a terrible runon sentance but I don't feel like backspacing and correcting it. LOL :)

I will post news as I remember it and post date them as they happened. So if you get an email update that new stuff has happened you will know what is going on :) You can always click at the top of the page on the LatestNews link too.

Nora has really bad infection in both ears. She has never had an ear infection before so this was a total surprise. I guess 17 months of breast feeding did pay off b/c Nora’s doctor seemed surprised that a child this old had never had an ear infection until now….almost 20 months old.

Dr. Byerly prescribed her an antibiotic and recommended to drink lots of water and also Pedialite since she vomited so much yesterday and last night. She’s never had the Pedialite before and I bought the grape since she loves the grape cough syrup but she wouldn’t drink it at all today. Maybe she will take some tomorrow.

Today she only weighed 23.8 lbs. Her weight was actually 2 lbs lower than her last time there! (Nov 2005) He said that fluids actually weigh a lot and thought that she would regain it soon. I guess her loosing 2 lbs that quickly would be equivalent to David or me loosing 20 lbs in a week probably.

I told him of her coughing and runny nose all last week and that David had been diagnosed with Step about 10 days ago… but he was most concerned with the ear infection and vomiting. He said that she should hold off on eating for the next two days and just drink. A jar of food or couple of crackers is all we should give her at meal time… so that she can keep it down and stressed again getting plenty of fluids.

He said that if she continues vomiting today after taking the medicine to call and he would give her the antibiotic by shot for the first dose to get her going and then the rest by mouth. Well after the Dr. I went to CVS and filled the prescription.

WOWZWERS! Just one antibiotic cost $56.45 after the insurance! I was shocked! I know my mouth dropped open when the cashier told me the amount. I wish now that the Dr. had given her the shot the $20 co-pay would have covered it along with the office visit!!!!

She is down for the night and knock on wood, we had no vomiting today. I hope tonight is a good night for Nora. She sure can use the rest as she has been worn out. Our appointment at 11am ruined her naptime – no 3 hour nap today. After we got put into an exam room she was so tired that she went to sleep in my lap and was asleep for about 10 minutes before the Dr. came in. He did most all of the exam with her asleep on my lap. She never knew he listened to her breathing, her heart, looked in her ears all while she was a sleep.

However when it came time for him to look in her mouth she did wake up and it was a very rude awakening! Poor Nora just got 20 minutes of nap time today. I hope tomorrow is a better day for Nora. Thank you for your prayers for Nora!

Mon, Feb 13, 2006

Just wanted you all to know that Nora has been really sick. All last week she has had a nasty nose and coughing and we have been giving her doses of medicine but yesterday (Sunday 2/12) she was SICK- SICK.

Before church she vomited twice. First when she was eating and second, while we were getting ready. Then at church she vomited during the readings and David did the best he could to cover her mouth and catch while rushing her to the back but she still made a mess. Luckily we sat in the 3rd from last row so not that many people saw it or knew of it....

...but then Father Tom had seen it as it happened b/c when he gave his homily he mentioned "poor little Nora Minor" and her getting sick……..I guess it somewhat tied in with the theme of lepers and how people were isolated and didn’t want to make other sick in the community…..

David and Nora stood up in the back for the rest of Mass. He wanted to stay close to the bathroom just in case. After we got home, we ate some lunch before putting her down for her nap and she had a good appetite. She ate several French fries and 3 chicken nuggets. But before we were done she vomited it all up (this now being the 4th time that day).

I took her up and gave her a bath and then put her down. Poor Baby. After her nap though she felt better than she had all day and had a grand time running around playing before bed time.

However…. This morning around 6am, just before the sun came up, I heard her coughing on the monitor and she was coughing one right after another so I got up to go give her some cough syrup and when I went in her bed was covered with dried up vomit. It was terrible! I won’t go into what it looked like but it was bad.

I picked her up and went and got David up and he came and changed out the bed sheet for me while I gave her medicine and then rocked her back to sleep. This morning I called Dr. Byerly at 8:30 and we have an appointment to go in at 11am. Hopefully she will get to feeling better soon.

This is the first time in her life she has had vomiting before. Poor Nora.

Well, I am not going to be able to get a cute photo of Nora to mail out in the Valentine's Cards next week. :(

Sunday she fell and busted her lip... or rather bit it. There are two large scabs on her bottom lip from where she but it and it is all swollen. Poor baby!

She has also been sick with a snotty nose and just started coughing the last two days. With her lip sore, she doesn't allow me to wipe her nose easily b/c she doesn't want me touching it. I will try and post a photo of her with her super big owie! :(

Nora has a new responsibility that she takes pride in doing each time we come home.

David or I will hold her up and it is her job to push the garage door button to let the door down. David started this a couple of weeks ago and now she knows that it is her job and will protest going inside the house unless she gets to press the button.

I wish you could see the look on her face when she does it. She is so proud of herself – and of course as you can tell by our adding it to her webpage we are proud of her too! :) LOL

Nora is fascinated by stickers.

She got one at Wal-Mart on her hand last week and loved it! So that gave me an idea for those little goldcrown stickers from Hallmark that came with cards now when she is is fussy I stick one on her hand and it really helps to calm her down b/c all she can do is walk around looking at her sticker! LOL

She got a book from GG (Godmommy Gayle) and the book is called "GiGi God's Little Princess" and in the book GiGi is always wondering when will she get her crown... well Nora gets one on her wrist now about once a week! :)

It is a very cute book and has become one of Nora's favorites. She picks it out to be read at least once a day. Nora loves to be read to!

We have reading times twice during the day and then again before bed.

Last week we held a Quilt Retreat at our home! :) My friend Tracie and her 9 month old son, Anthony flew from GA to come spend the week with us. We had "sew" much fun and the kids loved playing with each other.

I posted photos in the Jan 2006 folder. There are 2 that really capture what they did best all week. Nora I guess thought of crawling Anthony as another pet in the house b/c all she wanted to do was walk along behind him and bend over and pet him - which DID NOT like at all. He would just ball anytime he felt her hand on his back.

We watched closely to make sure she wasn't pushing him and she wasn't. But she loved it! The more he cried, the more she woudl repeat it... laughing all the while. It was pretty funny. To everyone EXCEPT Anthony!

The other great photo that captures a great memory is the one of him pulling Nora's hair. He never pulled it hard enough to hurt her - she never seemed to mind so much. But he was so facinated with all her long hair. He grabbed it whenever she was close! :) They were toooooooo cute together! :)

Nora's poor little hands!

Yesterday was our play date at the Lions Den Park. There were 4 boys and Nora. Tristan, Ayden, Jed and Nora played and played while Eli the newborn slept. Nora got dirtier than all of the boys put together. She sat and dug in the woodchips and dirt and would scrape it up and put it into a tire.

She was in heaven! Just before we were ready to leave the park she was at the wooden railing trying to stick her legs between the slats - in her mind she thought she could go thru the fence.

Well when I went up to her she was looking at her little hands and sure enough she had splinters! 5 in one hand and 2 in the other!

I was able to pull or rather pinch out 2 of them before we came home and she surprisingly sat still for it letting out a few grunts. After we got home she wouldn't let me fool with it much with the tweezers.

Also she has 4 mosquito bites :( 1 on her eye brow and 3 on top of her hand. They are so red. Poor Nora! Since we got back from KY we have noticed that the Mosquitoes are really bad here lately! I dread the summer!

Nora's 1st fashion protest was this morning. Today was our MOPS meeting so to insure that I would not be late I sat my alarm clock and got up much earlier than Nora to get ready.

Everything was going smooth and after I was all finished I went into her room to get her ready. She was already awake and happy in her bed babbling. When I greeted her good morning she pointed to her PJ shirt and said "Duck"! These were a new pair of PJ's she got for Christmas and was the first night to sleep in them.

When I was changing her diaper she was all busy with the shirt and looking at the ducks on it and after I was done I was ready to quickly dress her for MOPS. However she became the most difficult child to undress. She twisted and turned and made it near impossible to get that shirt off but I finally pried it off her head.

She was having a fit and I just thought maybe it was because she was getting cold so I tried to quickly put on her shirt for MOPS but she was fighting me and crying and had a death grip on her PJ shirt and rubbing it across her head messing up her hair big time. Here I thought she was cold but no, she was protesting what I wanted her to wear. I was running out of time and patience so I asked, “Do you want the duck back on???

-and just like that she started to help me put it back over her head and pushed her arms thru the sleeves! I was shocked! The water works shut off and she was smiling again! Who knew an 18-month-old could have such an opinion on fashion?!?!?!.

I figured since she was would be wearing a jogging suit over it - maybe no one would notice...even though no matter how much I tried I could not get the shirt to stay tucked in her pants and those silver snaps stuck out like a sore thumb.

All I can figure is these are the first pair of PJ's that have an item that she recognizes - the yellow rubber ducks - and she is proud that she can point them out to anyone who will listen. She quickly showed her teacher at MOPS when I said, "Nora, where are the ducks?" and again to Daddy when he got home this evening.
