Happy Birthday Malorie
Another Special Birthday today - to our neice Malorie who turns 11? Eleven? already?? no... why it seems as only last Christmas I got to visit her and hold her for the very first time on Christmas Day (the day she came home from the hospital)
She has grown up so fast... the photos that I am shareing with you today were taken when the kids and I evacuated to KY for hurricane Ike. Malorie's brother Lance had a pool party in September and although cold... the kidsn't didn't mind once they got warmed up. :)
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to YOU,
Happy BIRTH day dear Malorie...
Happy Birthday to you! :)

More Truths to Remember
Last week I shared with you an insert from our church bulletin... and this week they added some more. :) so I'll share with you again.
- The most important things in your home are the people.
- Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.
- There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
- A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.
- He who dies with the most toys is still dead.
- We do not remember days, but moments. Life moves too fast, so enjoy your precious moments.
- Nothing is real to you until you experience it, otherwise it's just hearsay.
- It's all right to sit on your pity pot every now and again. Just be sure to flush when you are done.
- Surviving and living your life successfully requires courage. The goals and dreams you're seeking require courage and risk-taking. *Learn from the turtle - it only makes progress when it sticks out its neck.*
- Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

Questions
Guess WHO was the last to leave the kitchen last night?
Guess what I discovered this morning when I walked into the kitchen? The door left open all night! (pic is after clean out)
Guess who got to clean up the mess?
Guess how many times this SAME thing has happened this year?
Guess who JUST went to the grocery (only YESTERDAY) and bought 4 gallons of milk + various other dairy items?
Guess how much this is gonna cost?
Guess who better not evah do this again!?$#^?!
Some of you have already heard about David leaving the refrigerator door open.. or thinking he closed it but it swung open instead. *grrr* This is the THIRD time this has happened this year.. the first two were back to back! and I can't believe it but for one reason or another we were just talking about that... and then look what he up and did last night!?
It's bad enough that we lost everything due to loosing electricity THREE times during Hurricane season this fall... (Tropical Storm Edouard, Hurricane Gustav and Hurricane Ike) along with another THREE times thanks to David's one last trip to the fridge before bed...
All I can say is - 2009 is around the corner and lets hope this was just a streak of bad luck for 2008...

Car Cart Momma, I see the Car Cart over THERE
I had put it off ad put it off... but today I couldn't go any longer.. We were out of milk AND diapers! and you can't go without diapers in this house.. so off to Kroger we went this afternoon after the twins woke up from their naps.
When we got there Nora was combing the parking lot for a "car cart" - you've seen them little cars attached to a very short (and hard to drive) shopping basket. Our Kroger only has two of these and she knows that unless we see one outside and get it - then there is no way I'm gonna hold/carry the twins into the store and take a risk that there may or may not be one.. too bad none of the regular shopping carts have the double seating upfront like the car carts.

I usually try to do all my shopping on the weekends while the babies are home with David... and even if Nora and I go in for just couple gallons of milk, she insists on riding in that car thing... so we do.
But today was the first time the twins got to ride in it.. not the car part but the sit side-by-side double seat thing... and boy did they have fun!
Here we are in the parking lot ready to go.
Olivia wasn't so sure when I started pushing.... hold me Momma!
and in the store... so much to see...
I forgot my list at home *URGH!* :/ Do you remember what we need to buy babies???
COOKIES!
yummmm yeah COOKIES!
Me too! Momma!MMMMM - thank you Momma! :)
and just when we were about done.. Paul Thomas discovered a special treat above the checkout lanes... Christmas Ornaments hangin up! "BALL!" "SEE!" he'd say over and over.. so loud. He was so excited and everyone around was so entertained ;)
insert video 120 here
and here we are ready to unload and go home.. we didn't get everything on the list I LEFT AT HOME.. but we got the essentials! Diapers, Milk and Toilet Paper and some other stuff... :P
and Nora was happy to find a bag of PINK M&M's :D
What a fun trip to the grocery today... Occasionally things go smoothly when we are out and about.. and when it does, I cherish it b/c not every time is like that... so glad I had my camera with me to take pics to remember our day and share it with all of you.
Fun Friday
We get a lot of forwarded emails from a collection of freinds and family everyday... so I thought instead of forwarding ...I'd pick on and share with you here each Firday. :) Enjoy! ~bonnie
LOLOLOL I didn't see that coming did you? LOL Hope everyone has a great weeked! ~bonnie
Ralph came home drunk one night, slid into bed beside his sleeping wife,
and fell into a deep slumber.
He awoke before the Pearly Gates, where St. Peter said, 'You died in your
sleep, Ralph..'
Ralph was stunned. 'I'm dead? No, I can't be! I've got too much to
livefor. Send me back!'
St. Peter said, 'I'm sorry, but there's only one way you can go back, and
that is as a chicken.'
Ralph was devastated, but begged St. Peter to send him to a farm near his
home....
The next thing he knew, he was covered with feathers, clucking, and pecking
the ground.
A rooster strolled past. 'So, you're the new hen, huh? How's your first day
here?'
'Not bad,' replied Ralph the hen, 'but I have this strange feeling
inside. Like I'm gonna explode!'
'You're ovulating,' explained the rooster. 'Don't tell me you've
never laid an egg before? '
'Never,' said Ralph.
'Well, just relax and let it happen,' says the rooster. 'It's no bigdeal.'
Ralph did, and a few uncomfortable seconds later, out popped an egg! Ralph
was overcome with emotion as he experienced motherhood.
He soon laid another egg -- his joy was overwhelming. As he was about
to lay his third egg, he felt a smack on the back of his head, and heard his
wife yell..... 'Ralph! Wake up. You shit in the bed!'

David's missing wallet
It's been a wild day here at the MINOR home, David had a MAJOR problem... his wallet was missing for about 24 hours!!!
We turned everything upside down twice both inside and outside of our home...you name it we looked, in the van, my purse the diaper bag multiple times b/c the "last place he had it was in the van"
...but b/c it never showed up we looked in the sofa cushions, the laundry baskets, even looked in the flower beds outside, all the closets (twins like to hide stuff in there), even the trash can - not just the one under the kitchen sink, but the BIG one that goes to the street every week!!! I think he tore open at least the top three bags and looked thru...
What a crazy day... I tell ya...David was late to work lookin’ for it this morning... I helped him some before I left to go walking at 8am... and he even came home on his lunch break to search some more… and we both searched again together when he got home.
Then tonight after we got the kids to bed he made me go sit with him in our mini van parked in the garage to “reenact” everything we did and went yesterday on the way home from church...no luck.
Then.. he goes to the computer desk for something - maybe to cancel the credit cards, I don't know... and he pulls out the keyboard return and WALLAH!
There's his WALLET - just sitting there. **WHEW what a relief!*
Maybe "HE's" pregnant!?@#@! LOL sounds like something I've done with the car keys when I was expecting Nora... LOL
Again, I am so happy that he found it... not only do we not have to worry with it anymore, David is suddenly in such a BETTER MOOD now too! :D
oh what a day!

Truths to Remember
This was included in our church bulletin today and I thought was worth sharing. :) I especially like the first one... it was what got me through two hurricane evacuations this fall....
- Faith is the ability to not panic.
- If you worry, you didn't pray, If you pray, don't worry.
- As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home every day.
- Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.
- When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants u to be still so He can untangle the knot.
- Do the math. Count your Blessings.
- God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
- Dear God: I have a problem. It's me.
- Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted.
- Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.

One More Angel
While Nora was making her first 3 snow angels, I had the camera on photo taking.. so we had her do one more so I could video it. Isn't she so cute! I just wish there was a deeper snow so she could actally see her angels really good.
but she didn't mind! she love them all the same!
and if we had known school had been postponed we would have made a snow man.... as did the rest of the town. I counted 28 on my drive to go pick up Nora at lunch! But we didn't know school was postponed... or we would have!

Let's have a Snow Fight All Together!
Sorry to keep you waiting.. but these videos take forevah to load! So today I'll try the last two and see if they'll load. Yesterday I discovered that my laptop would go to sleep in the middle and mess up everything.. so last night I came to the desktop computer.
thanks for baring with me. Hope you enjoy them. ;)

I'm Gonna Find the Perfect Spot
Ok, folks here's the first video of three. I know Nora and I will be watching and rewatching them for months to come. :) They are all short but I think you will enjoy them.
I still can't believe it snowed here in SE TX! My friends who have lived here all their lives have never seen the ground covered like this before... history in the making I tell ya! ;)
